Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new Desert View High School Band Booster, and we look forward to an exciting and rewarding year ahead with all of you.
Our mission is to support and enhance the musical journey of each student in our band program. To achieve this, we are committed to a few key goals:
Fundraising: We aim to raise the necessary funds to cover the costs associated with band trips, performances, equipment, and other essential activities and needs. Our fundraising efforts will ensure that every student has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from all that the band program has to offer.
Supporting Students: Our priority is to provide the support each student needs to thrive musically and personally. We believe that a nurturing environment helps students excel and develop their talents, and we are here to facilitate that experience.
Building Community: We recognize the importance of working together as a community. Collaboration among parents, teachers, and students is crucial for the success of our band trips and performances. By working together, we can create memorable and enriching experiences for our students.
As we gear up for a fantastic year, we want to emphasize the importance of everyone pitching in, even if it’s just a little bit. We understand that everyone has busy schedules and that time is often limited. However, every bit of help makes a difference. Whether it’s volunteering a few hours, helping with a fundraiser, or simply lending a hand when needed, your involvement is crucial to our collective success. We also highly encourage parents to attend most if not all of the Band Booster Meetings. This ensures that you are a part of all decisions made by way of voting and are informed on all Band Booster concerns and matters.
Let’s work together to make this year amazing for our students. Your support, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and helps ensure that we can provide the best possible experience for our band members.
We are excited to embark on this journey with you and are confident that, with your support and involvement, we will make this a fantastic year for the Desert View High School band program.
